Disney World Guest Jumps in a Lake
It's fall, and it seems more and more Disney guests are falling into bad behavioral patterns. Here is the latest bad idea to land in Walt Disney World.
Bad Disney Guest Behavior

You have probably read at least something about alleged poor Disney World Guest behavior in the past few weeks. You may have even seen seemingly incriminating videos pop up on social media.
For example, a park guest was filmed diving into the water at Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros at EPCOT. Another bailed and went tumbling down the hill on Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
And now another Guest has been caught on camera breaking rules. What on Earth were they thinking?
Guest Swims in Seven Seas Lagoon

Recently, a Guest was spotted going for a swim in Seven Seas Lagoon outside of Disney's Polynesian Resort. To put this idea in perspective for you, Seven Seas Lagoon is flanked by signs warning guests that the water is dangerous.
Swimming is never allowed in the Seven Seas Lagoon. The water is potentially full of harmful microorganisms that could pose significant health risks. Moreover, it is home to alligators, snakes, and other Florida wildlife.
In case no one has told you, here is a piece of knowledge from the locals. When you are in Florida, there is an easy way to tell if there are alligators in the water: It's wet.
TikTok user Mommakingmagic3 caught the swim on camera and posted it to social media. You can watch the foolishness play out below if you wish.
What are People Thinking
It may seem as if people just can't behave themselves in theme parks anymore. But the situation begs a question?
Is Guest behavior truly any worse now than it has ever been? Or are we just seeing more of it because more and more people take it upon themselves to record strangers and post it on the internet?
Is guest behavior declining or do we just see it more now that everyone has a recording device and access to the internet?
Regardless, one thing is true. Rules at theme parks are in place for a reason. Breaking them is inconsiderate, and it is not cool, funny, or safe. It can also lead to serious consequences.

Of course, it is unlikely that any of our own Kenny the Pirate readers would ever dream of breaking a basic Disney rule and jeopardizing their safety or the safety and experience of others. So, do forgive me for preaching to the choir.
But guests who do not hold rules in high esteem would do well to remember one thing. At this point in human history, if you are in public, you are probably on the other side of someone's camera, so govern yourself accordingly.
What do you think? Are guests acting worse, or are we just seeing more poor behavior because of recording devices and social media? Share your thoughts in the comments if you wish. And, as always, feel free to share the story with others so they can weigh in, too.
