The new premise for this attraction is that the Electric Mayhem is headlining their biggest Hollywood concert ever. The problem is that the band is missing.

Across town at G-Force Records, we're treated to a VIP tour of the legendary rock and roll recording studio. Things might look a little different around this Hollywood institution, as the label has recently come under new management - The Muppets!

Guests enjoy a new pre-show, an updated list of attraction songs, and even appearances by our favorite grumpy old men, Statler and Waldorf.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Holiday Overlay

Earlier this week, Walt Disney World revealed several holiday attraction overlays. One of them is Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets. See the other two attraction overlays HERE.

Get ready for a brand new pre-show experience to find Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips deep in rehearsals for their holiday spectacular. While the band puts the finishing touches on its seasonal set list, a few familiar Muppets friends stop by the studio to offer a helping hand… or at least try to.

The really exciting hint is that when Disney shares Muppet friends stopping by, they shared an image of Gonzo and Rizzo wearing costumes from The Muppets Christmas Carol.

Of course, music is a HUGE part of the storytelling of this attraction. As Guests enter the courtyard, festive Christmas music will be playing.

While enjoying the attraction, Guests will rock to one of these 4 songs:

"Little Saint Nick": The Electric Mayhem
"Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)"Jennifer Hudson
"Holiday Road": Kermit the Frog & Fozzie Bear
"Silver Bells": by Cyndi Lauper and The Electric Mayhem

The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will run November 4, 2026, through January 6, 2027.

We love how this is more than simply new songs aboard the ride with the new pre-show.

Do you like the idea of a holiday overlay, or would you prefer this attraction to remain the same all year? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
