A Big Leap Forward for One New Animal Kingdom Attraction
Walt Disney World is always in a state of becoming. And a big shift just impacted one of Animal Kingdom's latest attractions.
Changes for Disney World Attractions

At Walt Disney World, attractions are always evolving. Some changes are temporary, like holiday overlays.
Some stick around a little longer, like Soarin' Across America. And others are permanent (or at least permanent for the foreseeable future), like the reimagining of Rock 'n' Rollercoaster and Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress.
And some may be here today and evolve on short notice as the need dictates. Disney just implemented one such change at Animal Kingdom.
Jumping Junction

Jumping Junction is part of Bluey's Wild World in Disney's Animal Kingdom. It replaced the Affection Section petting zoo at what was formerly Rafiki's Planet Watch.
Jumping Junction allows guests to enjoy up-close encounters with animals native to Australia, including kangaroos and wallabies.
It is truly a magical experience to wander among the animals with no fences between you and them. You can read more about it HERE.
Changes at Jumping Junction

When the attraction first opened, Cast Members helped the kangaroos and wallabies get used to Guests by taking small groups on guided tours of the enclosure.
However, a few weeks ago, Cast Members began allowing Guests to visit the enclosure for a self-guided walk. Now you can wander among the kangaroos and wallabies at your own pace. Simply walk in the gate and exit when you have finished visiting the animals.
Of course, you must follow the rules, which include staying on the enclosure's path and refraining from touching, feeding, or chasing the animals. There are Cast Members stationed throughout the enclosure to keep an eye on the animals and the humans just in case.

Now you can wander with the wallabies and kangaroos at Jumping Junction.
I am sure I am preaching to the choir, but for goodness sake, please follow the rules for your own safety and for the safety of the animals. Let's preserve the experience for people wishing to learn about animals for years to come.
Have you experienced any version of Jumping Junction yet? Are you hoping for a chance to visit the kangaroos and wallabies? Let us know in the comments and feel free to share the news with family and friends who have a Disney trip planned so that they don't miss out.
