EPCOT Just Made 3 Surprising Changes for the Candlelight Processional
Just when we made our park plans, Disney just made 3 shocking changes for the popular Candlelight Processional.
Candlelight Processional
For many guests, the Candlelight Processional is a must-do tradition each year. This wonderful show tells the story of Christmas.
It features a celebrity narrator, a mass choir of Disney cast members and young singers from the community, a 50-piece orchestra, herald trumpets, and the incredible Voices of Liberty.
Returning for its 55th year, this program is not to be missed! It's included with the price of your EPCOT theme park admission, but for popular narrators, you'll need to get there early or consider a dining package.
EPCOT Operating Hours 2026
The holiday season is truly magical at EPCOT. Festival of the Holidays will run from November 27th through December 30th. The start of this festival will typically bring extended hours at EPCOT.
There is a change in showtimes this year: 4:45 pm (compared to the previous 5:00 pm), 6:30 (previous 6:45 pm), and 8:00 pm (previously 8:15 pm) at the America Gardens Theater.
However, that is NOT the case this year. For several years, EPCOT's operating hours would extend until 9:30 pm instead of the traditional 9:00 pm closing.
Candlelight Processional Narrators 2026
Initially, Disney shared a full listing of celebrity narrators with two spots "To Be Announced". These slots have now been filled with Benjamin Bratt narrating on December 2nd and 3rd, and Josh Groban narrating on December 13th and 14th.
Along with these surprising additions, comes a 3rd surprise: Auli'i Cravalho (voice of the animated Moana) was set to be the first narrator on November 27th and 28th. Her name has now been removed, and this is now listed as "To Be Announced".
Josh Groban and Benjamin Bratt are now added to the list of celebrity narrators.
You can find a full listing of the current Candlelight Processional narrators HERE.
