Multi-Month Closure Just Announced at Disney's Hollywood Studios
As Walt Disney World prepares for heavy crowds this fall and holiday season, one attraction closes for several months.
Hollywood Studios Changes

Disney Parks reserves the right to change operational hours as needed and without notice. Our Kenny the Pirate writing crew continues to share upcoming closures with you.
At times, this can mean attraction closures, canceled entertainment, and even select locations of the Disney Parks blocked for guests.
Disney's Hollywood Studios has seen many changes over the past few years, with the reimagining of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and the closure of Muppet Courtyard to make room for "Monstropolis".
Hollywood Studios Closure

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, Guests can take a break at Vacation Fun to enjoy several of our favorite animated shorts featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Unfortunately, Vacation Fun closed on August 9, 2026. It appears that this closure was due to the distribution of the Kermit Walt Disney World Annual Passholder magnet.
After an unexpected delay, Vacation Fun finally reopened to Guests on September 28, 2026.
Vacation Fun Closing...Again

Sadly, the Vacation Fun Theater has closed several times to be used for May the 4th merchandise and also Jollywood Nights merchandise.
As we feared, Disney just announced that Vacation Fun will close on October 28, 2026, with a plan to reopen later this year. While Disney has not announced the reason for this closure, it is quite possibly for Jollywood Nights, beginning on November 7, 2026, through January 5, 2027.
Vacation Fun sets a temporary closing date of October 28, 2026.
This is very disappointing for Guests hoping to enjoy great entertainment and escape the crowds for a little bit. Hollywood Studios offers so few attractions that it is disappointing for an attraction to close simply for special-event merchandise.
