More Magic Stripped Away from Disney Springs

We have to wonder if Disney Springs is doing ok! Several retail and dining locations have shuttered, and now true Disney magic will soon disappear. What do you think of these changes?

Disney Springs is a fun place to dine, shop, and play! Here you can find almost anything! You will find some of the best restaurants and shops. There are places to shop, dining locations, and even places to play (attractions, shows, and events).

One of our favorite Disney Springs locations is the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain. It closed for an extended refurbishment and reopened at a temporary location. Find full details for this relocation HERE.

Over the past several months, multiple Disney Springs locations have closed.

Disney Springs Closures

For 13 years, food trucks offered great dining options for guests, but these were all removed in June 2026. You can check out the most recent food truck closures HERE.

The very popular "Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill" recently closed this location. Since 1997, Wolfgang Puck has been represented at a variety of dining locations at Disney Springs. However, this recent closure marks the end of that era.

One classic Disney treat that has quite a following is the delicious churros. Disney Springs offered Sunshine Churros Kiosks at both the Marketplace near the AdventHealth Waterside Stage and the West Side near the carousel. Now both locations are closed.

Face-Painting Permanent Closure

Very soon, another popular Disney Springs kiosk will close. "Enjoy Your Face" offers many face-painting kiosks throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.

On September 26, 2026, the "Enjoy Your Face" kiosk near Disney Springs Marketplace Co-Op will permanently close. Thankfully, it does not appear that this will affect any other "Enjoy Your Face" face-painting kiosks throughout the Parks.

This is disappointing for Guests hoping to soak up some Disney magic and a fun transformation without the high cost of a Theme Park ticket.
