Breaking: New Experience Hits Smugglers Run Tomorrow
Your next trip aboard the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will look a bit different, and we love it!

Back in May, Disney brought brand new missions to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run with a brand new mission featuring the Mandalorian and Grogu.
This new mission will now explore a brand new location! After departing from Batuu and visiting Tatooine, the flight crew can choose to visit Bespin, Endor, or Coruscant.
Disney Imagineers share that, along with a new mission, they also looked at the individual roles for guests on this attraction. Their mission was to create clearer roles, provide onboard feedback, and help each guest feel that they are part of the overall mission.
Smugglers Run New Change
To "further enhance the game playing," the Engineer will be the most coveted role because it will be the Engineer to select the crew's destination.
Disney just announced a new parterhship that we didn't even know that we needed brining Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Fortnite.
Disney announces "Join Hondo Ohnaka's mission across Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Smuggler's Gambit and unlock the exclusive Forsworn Trooper Outift when you link your eligible MyDisney and Epic Games accounts."
Smugglers Gambit
Starting tomorrow, August 16, 2026, Guests can ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at either Disneyland or Disney's Hollywood Studios and carry this mission into Fortnite.
Smugglers Run and Fortnite's Smugglers Gambit goes live in the Parks and on Fortnite tomorrow, August 16, 2026.
Guests could also first start Smugglers Gambit on Fortnite and then extend this adventure at either Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at either Disneyland or Disney's Hollywood Studios.
In the Parks, you help collect crates for Hondo Ohnaka. This progress carries over to Fortnite. At the center of it all is Smugglers Gambit, a brand-new Fortnite island developed in-house by Disney Games and Digital Entertainment.
Set around Mersa Veta Station on the planet Ord Ryla, the experience puts players right in the middle of the kind of risky business Hondo seems to specialize in.
