Na'vi River Journey
The Na'vi River Journey is one of the 2 attractions located in the land of Pandora inside Disney's Animal Kingdom. I personally love the beauty and peaceful serenity of this attraction.
The boat ride typically concludes with a view of Na'vi Shaman of Songs, an impressively life-like animatronic creation, performing the music of her world.
The figure is one of the most sophisticated animatronics Walt Disney World has to offer. Occasionally, this animatronic malfunctions and will often be replaced by a projected screen.
Na'vi River Journey Closed
While many thrill seekers enjoy Flight of Passage more than Na'vi River Journey, many enjoy that Na'vi River Journey can be enjoyed by the entire family without height requirements and safety harness concerns.
Today, July 13, 2026, Na'vi River Journey did not open for Early Entry at 7:30 am. As the day progressed, the attraction remained closed the entire day.
With the Park closing at 7:00 pm, it does not look promising that it may open today.
Na'vi River Journey Warning
Due to the layout of Disney's Animal Kingdom, there is quite a bit of walking to reach the Land of Pandora. If you are visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom today or tomorrow, you will want to check the My Disney Experience app to see if it has opened for the day.

A closed attraction does create ripples throughout Disney's Animal Kingdom, creating higher wait times for other attractions.
