Magic Kingdom Cancels Entertainment Indefinitely

Magic Kingdom Refurbishments
Currently, Magic Kingdom looks more like a construction zone than a magical kingdom. Check out the ongoing refurbishments HERE.
The Disney Parks offer great attractions, but also great entertainment as well. Unfortunately, a refurbishment to Cinderella Castle Stage at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom affects many entertainment offerings.
Disney just shared that refurbishment will take place next month at the iconic Cinderella Castle.
Magic Kingdom Entertainment Missing
Beginning July 7, 2026, a refurbishment will take place at the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage. This will cause the stage to be closed and entertainment will be affected.
The Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire has no operating hours beginning July 6, 2026, which is a day before the expected refurbishment is set to begin.
Disney hopes to have this refurbishment completed by mid-July; however, there are no operating hours for the remainder of July and heading into August. Disney could add these operating hours later when the refurbishment nears completion,
Happily Ever After
The question that is probably looming for many is whether this will affect Happily Ever After. Thankfully, Disney shares that this will not affect Happily Ever After.
Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage refurbishment begins July 7, 2026.
