Scary Surprise Aboard Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios
Rise of the Resistance is undoubtedly one of the most popular Disney attractions, offering an amazing immersive experience for Star Wars fans. You may want to watch out for this surprise during your next Walt Disney World trip.
Rise of the Resistance

Located at both Disney World and Disneyland, Rise of the Resistance is the E-ticket attraction in Galaxy's Edge. It is some of the best work Imagineers have completed using some of the coolest technology known to man. Rise of the Resistance is simply the best!
However, it is no stranger to technical issues requiring guests to evacuate. At times, the attraction doesn't open for rope drop or may close down for periods during the day.
Many of the newer attractions have so many moving parts that all contribute to the overall experience. When one of these parts malfunctions, a backup plan is in place known as the "B Mode."
First Order Hangar Update

Now, guests may need to look out for an additional immersive experience. If you have enjoyed Rise of the Resistance, you remember the experience of entering the First Order Star Destroyer Hangar Bay.
There are over 50 First Order Stormtroopers standing in formation, and occasionally one or two will have small movements.
Recently, several Guests have shared that two Stormtroopers were actually walking and interacting with Guests in this room. Thanks to @mrs.everydaymommy for sharing her "Disney Jump Scare".
Walt Disney "Plussing"

Walt Disney used the term "plussing" which means you take a great idea to the next level. This new addition of interactive Stormtroopers appears to be Disney "plussing" once again.
Two Stormtroopers now interact with Guests when entering the First Order Star Destroyer Hangar Bay.
It is unclear if this was simply a trial or if this will be a permanent addition. We hope that this fun, immersive experience will continue.
