Disney's BoardWalk Receives Two Big Changes

Disney fans have been saying for quite some time that the theming that once made Walt Disney World unique is being replaced with bland, generic alternatives. Check out the new venues coming to Disney's Boardwalk, is this Disney magic or a big fail?

Disney's Boardwalk

Disney's BoardWalk offers a great resort along with a unique boardwalk vibe. The real stars of Disney's BoardWalk are the entertainers.

Guests can enjoy great entertainers performing magic tricks, acrobatics, and even juggling just to name a few of the acts.

Even if you are not staying near the Boardwalk, this is a great location to enjoy fun theming and free entertainment with just a short walk outside of EPCOT.

Hurly-Burly Lounge

One of the most iconic locations for guests over 21 at the BoardWalk was Jellyrolls. Sadly, this dueling piano bar closed in 2025. Disney just announced that a brand-new lounge, Hurly-Burly, will open in this former Jellyrolls building.

The best part is that Hurly-Burly will be welcome to Guests, both young and the young at heart. Disney shares, "During the afternoon, guests can drop by for family-friendly activities like trivia and other games led by a charismatic host."

"By night, Hurly-Burly will transition into a live music venue, welcoming guests 21-and-over to unwind with classic, coastal-inspired cocktails and tasty light bites, while enjoying a variety of musical entertainment that perfectly complements the BoardWalk's other unique offerings."

Basin at Disney's Boardwalk

We love the Basin stores located throughout Walt Disney World Resort, and now Basin will open a brand-new shopping experience at Disney's BoardWalk. Along with its great product line, Basin on the BoardWalk will offer brand-new interactive experiences.

New experiences along Disney's BoardWalk are set to open in late 2026.

Guests can enjoy creating their own custom bath tea at the blending counter, make your own personal soap, and emboss your soap for a personalized finishing touch.
