Disney Changes Attraction to Lower Wait Times
Disney has made a change that now alters the Guest experience in an effort to lower wait times and allow smaller Guests to enjoy this ride. What do you think of this change?
Disney Wait Times

Wait times are a constant concern for Disney Guests. Many things cause high wait times, including ride malfunctions, high crowds, inclement weather, and delays with safety restraints.
With safety being a priority at the Disney Parks, the loading and safety checks aboard attractions can lead to delayed loading of Guests.
We recently shared a patent that Disney filed to help use both video and predictive algorithms to make sure that each safety restraint was locked properly. Read more about this patent HERE.
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

Disney parks have always been synonymous with enchantment and wonder, and one of its most beloved areas, Toontown, received a magical makeover in 2023.
Toontown brims with delightful attractions that cater to both the young and the young at heart. The classic Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin is still a crowd favorite.
Previously, Guests could manually spin and whirl through an immersive journey alongside Roger Rabbit.
Attraction Changes

On May 1, 2026, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin reopened after a refurbishment. Once it reopened, Guests noticed that the interactive spinning feature was removed. The cars now spin automatically.
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin attraction cars can no longer be spun manually by Guests.
This change now allows small children to sit on a Guest's lap to enjoy this attraction.
A secondary goal is to also help lower the attraction's wait times and downtime for Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. As Guests exit the attraction, many thematic elements were removed to help lower exit time and prevent ride delays.
