Disney has revealed what level Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will be when it reopens this summer. Find out what we know.

Walt Disney World made a change from the previous Disney Genie+ to the new Lightning Lane system, allowing guests to skip the traditional standby line for a fee. The new Lightning Lane Multi Pass is very similar to the previous Disney Genie+ with a few exceptions.

On-site guests can purchase and make selections 7 days ahead of their arrival date. Offsite Guests will be able to do so 3 days ahead. Guests can still purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the day of their visit, but will not see the same availability if purchased earlier.

After you use your first Lightning Lane, you can then book your next experience. If you have a Park Hopper ticket or an Annual Pass, you can even make a selection for a different park.

On Sunday, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith officially closed on Sunday, March 1, 2026. As one attraction closes, we look ahead towards what is to come.

The attraction building remains on the My Disney Experience app, but the iconic guitar and stretch limo at the entrance have been removed. The physical park map shows the change, "Future Home of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring The Muppets."

Tier Level Revealed

Disney has just shared that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will use Lightning Lane Multi Pass. When it opens Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will be a "Tier 1" attraction when Guests are pre-planning their attractions. Other "Tier 1" attractions in Hollywood Studios include Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and Slinky Dog Dash.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will be a "Tier 1" attraction with Lightning Lane Multi Pass when pre-planning.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith was also a Tier 1 attraction prior to is closure.
