Animal Kingdom Early Entry Guests Left Disappointed

Early Entry is a great perk, but Guests visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom have a few complaints. Find out why you may want to rethink Early Entry at Animal Kingdom.

Early Theme Park Entry is a perk for all guests staying at a Disney resort hotel. All guests utilizing this benefit can take advantage of entering the parks 30 minutes before the parks officially open.

What can be done in 30 minutes? A lot more than you think! It can save you hours of waiting later in the day and will free up time for you to knock out other attractions later in the day.

Disney reserves the right to make changes to park operations as needed.

Disney's Animal Kingdom typically offers both the earliest park opening and the earliest park closing daily. Typically Guests rush towards the World of Avatar to enjoy Flight of Passage and then Na'vi River Journey.

With this being the final countdown for DINOSAUR, many Guests prioritize Early Entry to enjoy this attraction for one last final time.

Unfortunately, both yesterday, January 29th, and today, January 30th, DINOSAUR has failed to open for Early Entry. This is quite disappointing for Guests that skipped the World of Pandora to head towards DinoLand. The attraction opened a little after 9:00 am both days.

DinoLand will officially close on Monday, February 2, 2026. This will greatly affect Early Entry at Disney's Animal Kingdom. At that time, the only attractions open for Early Entry will include:

  • Avatar Flight of Passage
  • Na'vi River Journey
  • Expedition Everest
  • Zootopia Better Zoogether

If you hope to skip paying for an Individual Lightning Lane for Flight of Passage, Early Entry may be worth it at Disney's Animal Kingdom, but other than that, Early Entry is not quite as exciting at this park.
