Adventureland Attraction Closes Indefinitely
Disney Parks have many attractions currently closed, but now a new attraction will close with no reopening date. Be sure to update your touring plans for this new closure.
Disney Refurbishments
Refurbishments are a part of life at Disney Parks. These may take place for various reasons. Whether it be for mechanical issues or cosmetic updates, a refurbishment can take place for many reasons.
Based on the nature of the work, the refurbishment may take a few days or several months. Although refurbishments occur throughout the year, the Disney Parks tend to begin many refurbishments in the slower months of January and February.
Most of the time, Disney announces a reopening date, but not for this new refurbishment.
Jungle Cruise Closing
Unfortunately, it is time for the Jungle Cruise to undergo refurbishment. Finding out that a ride is going to be closed for refurbishment is disappointing. However, keeping rides running safely is a critical part of maintaining the Disney Magic!
Jungle Cruise will now close on February 17, 2026, at Disneyland. At this time, Disney has not announced the reason for this refurbishment.
A reopening date has not yet been provided for the Jungle Cruise.

While refurbishments are sometimes inconvenient and disappointing to see for guests visiting, they do happen. It is a good idea to be aware of what refurbishments are happening when planning your trip.

It is important to note that this particular refurbishment only affects the attraction in Disneyland Park in Disneyland, California. It does not impact the attraction at Walt Disney World.
