Disney World Perk Returning in 2026 - Is It As Good As Before?
There are still some benefits for staying on Disney property when visiting Disney World. One perk will return next year, but will it be as good as it is this year?
2026 Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Benefits

In 2026 Disney World Resort Hotel Guests can receive perks for staying on Disney property. These perks include:
- Early theme park entry at every park, every day
- Extended evening hours on select days (for Guests staying at Deluxe Resorts)
- Free water park entry on check-in day during summer 2026
- Free parking for resort Guests
- Early access to dining and Lightning Lane reservations
Staying at Disney Resort offers Guests select perks.
Free Water Park in Summer 2026

Guests who stay at a Disney Resort Collection hotel during the summer of 2026, can enjoy a free Disney Water Park admission on their day of check in!
This upcoming summer, Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guests can enjoy either Disney Water Park Admissions on their arrival day!
Last summer, Disney opened both water parks, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach. This was the first time that both of Disney's water parks were open at the same time in more than five years!
Is This Change Worse?

Unfortunately, unlike this year, the water park benefit will only run during the summer. The free water park admission was a great perk, and many Guests took advantage of it. Next year, the free water park admission perk will be noticeably less appealing.
Guests can only take advantage of the free water park admission with their Disney Resort Hotel stay during the Summer of 2026.
If this is a perk you were planning to take advantage, be sure to book your hotel for next summer soon. Hotels could fill up quickly with guests wanting to visit a water park for free.
Are you sad to see this perk change? Did you take advantage of the free water park entry this year? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to share this post with your friends!
