Villains Took Over the Magic Kingdom Today
Disney Villains took over the Magic Kingdom today with surprise entertainment. Could this be a hint of what is to come with the new Villains Land?
Magic Kingdom Special Entertainment

Earlier, we shared that holiday filming was suspected to take place at the Magic Kingdom this weekend, November 8th and 9th. This is now confirmed and makes several interesting operational changes.
First, there are no showtimes for the Festival of Fantasy Parade on these dates. Today, November 8, 2025, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade ran at 2:00 pm.
Secondly, "Frozen Holiday Surprise" has also been canceled for these dates.
Villains Takeover Magic Kingdom

Today, before the start of the Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, several of our favorite Disney villains surprised guests with a villainous cavalcade.
The cavalcade was started by the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, followed by Cruella DeVille. Guests were greeted by many more of our favorite villains, including the evil stepsisters and evil stepmother from Cinderella, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, Dr. Facilitator from Princess and the Frog, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, and Captain Hook & Mr. Smee from Peter Pan.
The final float showcased the mistress of evil herself, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, Mother Gothel from Tangled, and the Evil Queen, along with her Magic Mirror from Snow White.

Special Villains Filming

As Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward," and that is very true at Walt Disney Company. After years of giving us our "Happily Ever After", a new villainous wave of experiences is coming to the Disney Parks.
Special Villains Cavalcade surprised guests today at the Magic Kingdom.
Disney has revealed plans for a new Villains Land at Magic Kingdom, and we are curious if the special filming of this villains cavalcade may be in preparation for a big villains announcement during the ABC holiday specials.
Do you think the Disney villains should be showcased more in the Disney Parks? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
