EPCOT Adjusts Park Operating Hours
EPCOT has made some operational changes due to the runDisney Marathon Weekend events. Last week, we shared that EPCOT would be opening later due to the Half Marathon on January 10th. You can read more about that HERE.
EPCOT will open at 10 AM on Saturday, January 10th and Sunday, January 11th.
The Marathon takes place on Sunday, January 11th and EPCOT will open late on this day as well.On Sunday, January 11th, EPCOT will open at 10 AM.
What Does This Mean For You?
As noted above, the delayed openings at EPCOT are due to the Half Marathon and Marathon of runDisney's Marathon Weekend. If you are planning to visit EPCOT on these days, expect heavy traffic and crowds in and around EPCOT.
This means Early Entry will begin at 9:30 AM on both Saturday January 10th and Sunday January 11th.
We suggest giving yourself plenty of time to get to the park, as there will be road closures and crowds. Also, be sure to follow the direction of Cast Members as Guests typically need to cross the race course near the bus stops.
