Disney Kicks Off Brand New Celebration Next Month

As the United States of America prepares to celebrate its 250th Anniversary in 2026, Walt Disney World and Disneyland are getting the patriotic celebration started a bit early with a new initiative called "Disney Celebrating America."
The best part is that this celebration starts next month on November 11, 2025 (Veteran's Day) and extends through July 4, 2026 (Independence Day).

"At its heart, America's story is one of imagination, ambition, and possibility - the same ideals that have guided Disney since the beginning," said Robert A. Iger, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company. "This celebration honors both a nation and a spirit that never stop dreaming about what's next."
Earlier we shared an exciting flight change with "Soarin' Across America". In November, Disney will reveal brand new new 2026 offers available at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line for eligible service members. This is such a meaningful way to show appreciation of their service in honor of America's 250th anniversary.
Throughout the year, Disney will invite military families to enjoy special screenings available on select military bases. Disney will also make a $2.5 million donation to the nonprofit Blue Star Families. In May 2026, Disney will release special commematrive merchanides for this 250th Anniversary.
Special July 4, 2026 Fireworks
The celebration will culminate on the July 4th weekend with a 24-hour, multi-platform broadcast, "Disney Celebrates America," highlighting America's 250thanniversary events nationwide across Disney's linear networks and steaming platforms, including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, Disney Channel, ESPN, Freeform, FX and National Geographic,

Disney's famous firework show, "Disney's Celebrate America! - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky," will play across all three nights of the holiday weekend, July 3 - 5, at both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom Park.
