Holiday Decorations at Disney World

The final push is in place for Halloween at Walt Disney World, but Disney is already dreaming about the holidays. Typically, we begin to see Christmas decorations adorn EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom towards the end of October.
Magic Kingdom waits until the final guests leave the final night of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, before the first Christmas wreath is hung.
In previous years, holiday filming typically took place around the week of November 10th. This year, Disney is way ahead of schedule, beginning holiday filming last week.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmas for All Guests

Nights at the Magic Kingdom are about to become even more magical with the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. During this event guests can enjoy Minnie’s Wonderful Christmas Fireworks.
On non-party nights, Happily Ever After will be offered for Magic Kingdom guests. However, there is an entertainment change after the final Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party date, December 21, 2025.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will appear nightly at 8:30 pm starting on December 22, 2025 for all Magic Kingdom Guests. This will continue leading into Christmas.
Happily Ever After Canceled

Starting on December 22, 2025, only Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will be offered. Happily Ever After will not be offered on these nights.

Typically, the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will also be offered during the day for all guests replacing the Festival of Fantasy Parade. This has not yet been confirmed, but our fingers our crossed that all guests can once again enjoy this magical parade.
