Biggest Disney's Lightning Lane Price Increase Yet
Just when we think we have seen the height of price increases, Walt Disney World surprises us yet again. Take a look at the current price increasing trend and how this may affect your next Walt Disney World trip.
Disney's Lightning Lane

In 2024, Disney Parks made a change from the previous Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane system that allowed guests to skip the line for a fee. The new Lightning Lane Multi Pass is very similar to the previous Disney Genie+ , with a few exceptions.
Lightning Lanes can be purchased as a Multi Pass or an Individual Lightning Lane. There is also a Premier Pass, which eliminates the need for ride reservations, but it comes at a premium price.
Disney reserves the right to make changes to which attractions are offered with Lightning Lane, and selections are limited. Check out our full review of using the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass HERE.
Lightning Lane Multi-Pass Price Increase

Just like with Disney Genie+, both Lightning Lane Multi-Pass and Single Pass use variable pricing. Prices increase as demand increases for holidays and heavy travel times.
The price also varies by the Walt Disney World Park that you purchase this for. Disney just increased the price for the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass at all 4 Theme Parks, including Disney's Animal Kingdom, which is pretty much a construction zone.
Here is a full breakdown:
- Magic Kingdom: $39 (former highest price) now $45
- Disney's Hollywood Studios $35 (former highest price) now $39
- EPCOT: $32 (former highest price) now $37
- Disney's Animal Kingdom: $29 (former highest price) now $35
Lightning Lane Single Pass Price Increase

Prices will increase for many more Lighting Lane Single Pass attractions, including:
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train $15 (previously $14)
- Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind $22 (previously $19)
- Flight of Passage $19 (previously $18)
Disney just increased the price for the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass at all 4 Theme Parks
- TRON Lightcycle Run $23 (previously $22)
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: the price remains the same at $25

Go woke, go broke, while Disney keeps gouging their fans, while paying their cast members peanuts.
We gave up our family's 6 top tier annual passes and 4 resort stays a year.
Not going back as long a Disney keeps The View running.
