Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins is part of the Disney Vacation Club. This hotel is located inside the main building of Disney's Wilderness Lodge, unlike Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Boulder Ridge is located in a separate building.

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins offers studios, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom villas, and waterfront cabins.

Even with all the different accommodation types available at Copper Creek, there are fewer than 200 rooms. This can make it a very challenging hotel reservation to book.

Refurbishment

Disney had informed Guests that Copper Creek Villas & Cabins would be undergoing refurbishment beginning mid-May 2025. This refurbishment will last through September 2025.

The new refurbishment entails a Guest room refurbishment.

This isn't the only refurbishment happening at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Since last August, Disney has been doing exterior refurbishment work on both Copper Creek Villas & Cabins and the main hotel, Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

How is This Impacting Guests

Signage is up informing Guests that the third floor is currently closed. The sign reads, "Please pardon our pixie dust. The 3rd floor is currently closed for refurbishment. Please use the elevators near Roaring Fork to access 3rd floor." The elevators near Roaring Fork give access to areas of the third floor that are open.

All resort amenities remain available to Guests during the refurbishment.

The outdoor walkway near Roaring Fork is also closed as scaffolding has gone up for the exterior work. Guests will hear and see the construction during daytime hours when they visit the hotel.
