Disney’s Character Dining Gets an Exciting Menu Change

Do you love Disney Character Dining, but find the food a little blah? Now one of the often overlooked Character Dining locations has a great new menu upgrade.

When you think of Disney dining you most likely think of Character Dining. Character meals are a great way to get out of the heat and meet some fun characters.

Enjoying a character meal will let you have a meal without waiting in line to meet characters. Character lines in the park can get long as there are currently no Lightning Lanes for character meets.

Many guests justify the higher price of Character Dining for this reason even though the actual food may be not worth the cost.

Garden Grill Update

We get pretty excited when new dining updates are announced, especially when character meals get a new update. One of my (Donna) favorite Character Dining locations is the Garden Grill located in The Land Pavilion.

The Garden Grill offers farm-fresh food options while guests rotate to enjoy scenes from the Living with the Land attraction. Now guests can enjoy an all-new delicious dessert option, a Strawberry Shortcake topped with whipped cream.

There is also the Farmer Mickey cupcake option for kids. This chocolate cupcake is topped with buttercream and cookies and cream crumbs. How cute is it served in the tiny terra cotta pots!

Why choose Garden Grill?

All food at The Garden Grill is served family style allowing for refills of your favorite menu items. We have a feeling that guests may ask for refills of this great new dessert option.

Guests can meet Farmer Mickey and Chip ‘n Dale at this dining location. Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended.
