Running royalty has arrived at Disney World, and they are ready for a magical running weekend. However, athletes found out a change has been made to PhotoPass for runDisney events.
runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend

The Princess Half Marathon Weekend takes place at Walt Disney World Resort from February 20 – 24, 2025. This weekend includes a Health & Fitness Expo, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Yoga event.
The Princess Half Marathon Weekend is underway. It runs from February 20th through the 24th.
Princess Weekend athletes were already taken aback by a change when the Princess Half Marathon Weekend Yoga location changed to Hollywood Studios this year. The yoga event used to take place in front of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom. You can read more about that and the themes for this year’s events HERE.
New Change to Photopass

Unlike PhotoPass in the parks where PhotoPass photographers use a card or your MagicBand to link your photos, for runDisney events PhotoPass uses an athlete’s bib number. runDisney has changed the way that athletes will link their race bibs to their PhotoPass.
runDisney has changed how athletes will link their race bib to their Disney PhotoPass.
In previous events, athletes would get a generic code which they then added their bib number to the end to receive their race photos. Now, Athletes were given a specific individual code to link to their account. This unique code can be found in each athlete’s Check-In Pass.
How to Link

Each athlete receives a Check-In Pass before attending the Health & Fitness Expo. The Check-In Pass is how each athlete will receive their race bib, and the Check-In pass will also now contain a 16-digit PhotoPass ID.
To link your race photos through the My Disney Experience App:
- Open the email containing your Check-In Pass to locate your PhotoPass ID
- Open the My Disney Experience App and choose the menu
- When in the Photo Gallery, click “Link Photos”
- Enter the PhotoPass ID from your Check-In Pass in the “Type to Link PhotoPass Card” tab
Each athlete will receive a unique 16-digit PhotoPass ID to receive their Race Photos! One code per athlete, per race weekend.
To link your race photos through the DisneyPhotoPass.com:
- Open the email containing your Check-In Pass to locate your PhotoPass ID
- Visit DisneyPhotoPass.com and log in. Select “Link Photos”
- Enter the PhotoPass ID from your Check-In Pass
