One of the best things about visiting Walt Disney World is all of the delicious food! Luckily, Walt Disney has you covered with so many different restaurants both in the theme parks and in their resorts.

After the pandemic, many dining locations slowly reopened all over Walt Disney World. However, some locations remain closed. Some character dining choices that once existed before the pandemic, still haven’t returned. That’s right, Bon Voyage breakfast. We are talking about you.

Disney’s Grand Floridian resort is currently in a state of transition like so many other locations in Walt Disney World. While refurbishments and closures are sometimes frustrating to deal with on vacation, they are necessary.

Work has been ongoing throughout the resort with updates to the DVC Villas and resort lobby. To see what the new rooms look like now, be sure to read Kate’s post HERE. Guests have been waiting and waiting for 1900 Park Fare and the Tea Room to reopen. Both locations have remained closed since 2020.

Today, Disney has shared that 1900 Park Fare is finally reopening! We are so excited to see this location reopen to guests once again. Once it reopens, the location will have all new dining offerings. Prior to its closure, this was one of the most popular character dining choices. Guests could visit with characters like Mary Poppins, the Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too!

When the restaurant reopens, Disney has promised familiar and brand-new characters to greet guests! Expect to see Aladdin in his Prince Ali look, Cinderella, Mirabel and Tiana in her new look greeting guests here for the very first time.

What about the Disney Dining Plan? According to Disney, 1900 Park Fare will accept the Disney Dining Plan and will require 1 Table-service credit (breakfast and dinner).

1900 Park Fare reopens to guests on April 10, 2024!

According to Disney, “an enchanting buffet will be served for breakfast and dinner, featuring some returning guests favorites – yes, that includes the strawberry soup.” Big Bertha also remains on display in the main dining room. Reservations for this dining experience open on March 5, 2024. We cannot wait to see everything new that is coming! Be sure to follow the blog for more news and updates.

I'm so glad that they're reopening but disappointed that they're doing a buffet. Buffets are unsanitary and are not allergy friendly.
