Have you had an opportunity to try the fan-favorite Mickey shaped beignets from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter? They are absolutely incredible! Guests at Walt Disney World don’t hesitate to make the special trip over to French Quarter for these fluffy, fried favorites!

You can also find beignets at New Orleans Square in Disneyland. So, if you ever find yourself on the West Coast please head over to the Mint Julep Bar!

Guests have been asking for these in the park, and where better to get them than at the Magic Kingdom? Frontierland has become a little bit New Orleans Square with the addition of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Where and How to Find the Beignets

February is Black History Month and to celebrate, the culinary teams at Disney Parks are bringing on the flavor with delicious eats and sips honoring Black heritage and culture. Both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are joining in on the Celebrate Soulfully festivities.

This year, there are plenty of new delights that you won’t want to miss, including the Sweet Potato Fries Poutine at Disneyland Hotel. But that’s not all. There are also some returning favorites coming back, like the Sweet Potato Lunch Box Tart at Woody’s Lunch Box and Banana Pudding at Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue.

However, the real star of the show is Tiana’s Famous Beignets, which can be found at Golden Oak Outpost. These light, sweet, and fluffy beignets with strawberry dipping sauce will only be available from February 1 to March 1, 2024.

To see what else is available around the parks and resorts for Black History Month, see the full guide HERE.

Are you aware of the origins of beignets? i don’t think they mean to suggest only black people enjoy them, just that it is a culturally significant food! Lol I love tacos and I am not Mexican but I understand someone celebrating Mexican culture by serving tacos! Calm down Robbin lol i also hope they stay around!

No need to shout. It likely is more about the soon to open Tiana attraction than suggesting beignets are a specific Black food.
