Christmastime is one of the busiest seasons in Walt Disney World. That means that Park Passes are selling out quickly. Here’s some information on which park passes have already sold out as we begin the month of December.

Disney World Park Pass Reservations Still Required!

When Disney World reopened after the great shutdown in 2020, Disney required us to book park passes. This limits the capacity of each park. The system is not popular among Disney’s fandom, especially Annual Passholders. The Park Pass Reservation system removes a great deal of spontaneity in the park experience.

Guests need a ticket to enter a given park. Also, you need a matching park pass reservation to enter a theme park. They are not required for Disney World water parks or Disney Springs entry.

We do see additional park passes added from time to time. There is no guarantee that you will gain access to the park of your choice. So, we recommend booking your Christmas vacation park passes NOW.

Park Pass Demand

We learned back in November that two Magic Kingdom park passes sold out on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve at Magic Kingdom sold out for all guests, including those using regular tickets.

To avoid being shut out from your dream vacation experience at Walt Disney World, we recommend that you book your park pass reservations.

Passes sold out for multiple days

While it may be possible to enter a given park after 2 PM without a Park Pass Reservation, there is no guarantee. If the park is at capacity, as determined by Disney World leadership, Disney will turn away guests for a specific time.

The dates and parks that are currently sold out.

Saturday, December 9 – Magic Kingdom

Saturday, December 16 – Magic Kingdom

Monday, December 18 – Magic Kingdom

Tuesday, December 19 – Magic Kingdom

Monday, December 25 – Magic Kingdom

Sunday, December 31 – Epcot

We highly recommend that you book your Park Pass Reservations NOW so that you can visit the theme park of your choice during your upcoming Christmastime visit. By the way, it’s stunning in Disney World during the Holiday Season.

A few times we have been to the parks and last night @ Epcot we went to the Coke refreshment station to purchase the Blue frosty in the Souvenir cup that was posted on KTP. we were informed it was a short time deal and this was just Dec 3!!!! Various popcorn buckets were supposed to be available at all locations to include DS.. this is not the case. Nothing was at MK OR EPCOT! WE Went to the MNSSHP and it was posted that the Mickey skeleton and the Haunted Mansion car would be available. After I read on KTP about the buckets we went to MK and they were sold out of Mickey. But we could not locate the Car. A few weeks ago we went back to MK in search of the car. We were informed that the car was only available for MNSSHP guests only. The fact that we did pay the price to go to the MNSSHP We should be allowed to purchase this item when they came back into stock. We are getting information that is not 100 percent accurate.
