New Halloween Event is Coming to Disney Next Year

What’s this? A new Halloween event coming to Disney next year? I can’t believe my eyes!

Halloween at Disney

Disney loves getting into the not-so-spooky spirit each year for Halloween. Disney World hosts Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party while Disneyland hosts Oogie Boogie Bash. Even Disney Cruise Line gets into the spirit!

With close to the three months of fun events, Halloween is one of the longest running celebrations that takes place at Disney parks every year. And, Disney is adding to the fun in 2024!

Halloween Race

Disneyland will host a Half Marathon Weekend in 2024! The weekend takes place September 5-8, 2024 for four days of wickedly good fun! Events and activities inlcude:

Yoga
Kids Races
5K
10K
Half Marathon and Challenge

Of course, all events will be themed to Halloween! Club runDisney registration begins February 6, 2024 and general registration takes place February 13, 2024.

It’s also safe to assume Halloween at the Disneyland Resort will kick off on these dates.

2024-2025 Schedule

runDisney Virtual Series June 1 – August 31, 2024. Registration takes place on March 26, 2024.
Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend September 5 – 8, 2024. Club runDisney registration begins February 6, 2024 and general registration takes place on February 13, 2024.
Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend October 31 – November 3, 2024. Club runDisney registration begins March 5, 2024 and general registration takes place on March 12, 2024.

runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas December 1 – 31, 2024. Registration takes place on July 9, 2024.
Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend January 8 – 12, 2025. Club runDisney registration begins April 2, 2024 and general registration takes place on April 9, 2024.
Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend January 30 – February 2, 2025. Club runDisney registration begins June 11, 2024 and general registration takes place on June 18, 2024.
