Calling all ghosts and ghouls: This experience is always a must-do! Get ready to treat yourself to an evening full of festive fun with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park beginning Aug. 11.

The party, which runs through Nov. 1 on select evenings from 7 p.m. to midnight, includes new and returning spine-chilling fun you won’t want to miss. Be sure to check out the locations for characters HERE and showtimes HERE.

Guest Complaints

All of that fun has created a very desirable event to attend in recent years. In fact, it is so popular many nights sell out and the party nights have been very crowded.

Many have complained the parties just feel busier. While Disney never releases attendance to these events, we have reason to believe Disney continually increased the attendance cap in the last few years (with the exception of Boo Bash years). It no longer felt like an exclusive event but a regular, crowded evening.

After the return of 2022’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Disney allegedly received several complaints about the crowds.

RUMOR: Reduced Number of Tickets Sold

For 2023, a KtP source confirms that Disney reportedly reduced the number of tickets that would be sold for each event this year. If true, this should mean that the party will feel more like it did in the mid-late 2010’s.

Our source also shares that Guest complaints are the reason why Disney brought the seven dwarfs back to the party. They have been missing since 2019, and whatever the reasoning is, we are happy to see them back!

Already Sold Out Dates

The following dates are already sold out:

• August 22
• August 25
• September 15
• October 31

Because of the fact that Disney is likely not selling as many tickets, we strongly encourage you to purchase the tickets you need NOW. More dates will likely begin selling out quickly, and we do anticipate the party to fully SELL OUT this year.
