Big List of Movies and Shows that Disney+ Removed
It is no secret that Disney+ planned to remove a large amount of content. Here is a big list of what actually disappeared.
Disney+ Content Purge
In May, it came to light that Disney+ would be removing a large amount of content from the platform. During a Second Quarter Earnings call, current Disney CEO Bob Iger addressed big changes coming to Disney+ including the removal of content.
He also addressed higher prices for the add-free tier and improvements for streaming. You can read more about the call as well as the list of content predicted to vanish and the reasoning behind the decisions here.
Movies that Have Vanished
At least a dozen movies have been removed from the platform. As best we can tell, these are the movies that have actually been removed and are no longer available for streaming on the platform. This does not mean that you will not be able to find them on any platform ever, but you won't see them on Disney+ now. And since they are original content, finding them could be tricky for the time being.

Shows that Have Vanished
Many, many original series and TV specials are gone now. Again, as best we can tell, this is a list of what has vanished and is no longer available for streaming on the Disney+ platform. This will vary by country, and there may be some other content that has disappeared. It was predicted that some of these were coming, but others are surprises.

I loved Super Natural, Disney Nature, and the other National Geographic shows they removed. this is awful
So sorry that they removed shows you enjoyed. The nature shows really are so well done! maybe they will eventually sell them to a different provider
I wanted to re-watch Stargirl with my daughter and now is gone. Also cannot be found anywhere else. Can someone tell me how this is a financial decision? They don have a server big enough to hold 12 original and recent movies? They spent the money to produce them. Why not leave them alone?
Disney removed Stargirl and a big list of others. It looks like they will be able to write content off as a loss.

Very excited to watch Stargirl, but was removed and I am screaming inside PLEASE BRING IT BACK!
I was planning to watch it too. It is possibly Disney will sell it to another provider. We shall see.
They not only removed The One and Only Ivan. Now it’s not available period! Bad business. Disappointed.
Disney owns Hulu when they bought 20 century Fox
It’s a sad world when a streaming platform geared specifically for Disney fans with Disney content is taking off their own shows and movies. There are several of these movies I’ve watched and wanted to watch again as well as several I haven’t seen, with the assumption that they would always be available ( because that’s what I was led to believe…. Or least I’m pretty sure I read that somewhere).
To say I’m disappointed is an understatement, especially with the upcoming price increase next month.
I hope they get it right and bring this content back.

In this case it's not censorship. It was a financially driven move.
I miss Big Shots and the Mighty Duck game changers. I was watching both and now it is gone. I agree Disney+ just is'nt the same anymore and the company seems to care only about making money. It is crazy now much got taken off and it is frusting.

I'm so sick of these streaming channels removing stuff and charging more. Disney needs to leave Disney+ alone and stop socking it to those that still have Disney+.
I feel that Disney has definitely lost what What Walt wanted Disney to be. They are becoming money greedy and catering to a different set of people.
I remember when I was a kid and my dad was being transferred out west from the East Coast we would stop by Disney World. Now I have no interest in going back. I've been there four times as an adult and that was before they made the changes.
I think they need to put the shows back and have it lie it was originally. My family and I have movie night and we pick movies from disney+. Now the ones we really like are gone!!! Go back to the way you were disney!!! Stop adding stuff people don't want and keep what we do! You know they can tell what's being watched and what is not. So let's be fair....
We've had Disney+ almost 2 years. I can't believe they are taking great movies like The One and Only Ivan and Black Beauty away! We watch those!! Then replace it with something stupid or more 'screaming' cartoons and irrelevant TV shows with no purpose in the acting. I hope you take these and put it on their FB, IG Twitter etc so they can see exactly how we feel. MORONS!!!
Disney+ started out amazing, but sadly is a shadow of it's former self, i cancelled my subscription because i am tired of the censoring of movies, i want to see the movie i saw in the theater, personal censorship is better.....if i don't want to hear certain music........guess what, i don't listen to it, if i don't want to see a certain movie.......guess what.......i don't watch it, i don't need the iger and disney police telling me what i can or cannot watch and enjoy, especially if i am paying for it!
I only watched 3 of the shows that were removed: Willow, The Making of Willow, & Runaways. And to be quite honest the only one I'm sad to see go is Runaways.
Sad but this seems to be the “new” Disney. And I won’t be going to see the latest Indiana Jones movie either! That’s another story…

I refer people to watch The One and Only Ivan all the time and now it's gone along with a number of other things don't understand Disney and don't understand the connection with Hulu either

No shows should be removed from Disney+ at all, extremely frustrating
How does it save money or get new customers to remove a show my family was watching? If anything, I'll unsubscribe for less content for higher price!
