In today’s blog, Disney Parks has shared five different ways for guests to meet and greet their favorite Disney characters while enjoying Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. The flotillas were an introduction to a unique version of meet and greets during the pandemic and we are thankful that they have not gone away. Disney characters throughout the day on flotillas, float along the Discovery River while dancing and waving to guests as they pass by.

Beginning September 4, 2022, the flotilla will welcome the brand new “Adventure Flotilla,” where guests will spot Launchpad McQuack and Scrooge McDuck from Disney’s “Duck Tales” or Russell and Dug from Disney and Pixar’s “UP” exploring the wilderness.

Longing to receive a heartfelt hug from your favorite Disney character? No problem! We got you covered as DinoLand U.S.A. will welcome back Donald, Daisy and Chip ‘n’ Dale on September 4th. Do not fret, as the dynamic duo chipmunks will feature themselves in their iconic dino outfits!

Need to get a hug from Mickey and Minnie? Make sure to visit the Adventurers Outpost, where the world travelers have once again opened up their exploration headquarters to meet all guests.

Now that the Tumble Monkeys have returned to the “Festival of the Lion King,” although this form of entertainment does not provide an actual meet and greet with characters, it does deliver 40 minutes of dancing, aerial performances and singing! Another wonderful performance to enjoy is the brand new stage show, “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!” as you will find yourself singing along to the catchy tunes!

Lastly, the best way to enjoy a meet and greet in my personal opinion is to enjoy a character dining meal while enjoying a sit down meal while interacting with the characters at your dining table! Tusker House Restaurant provides you with the ultimate meet and greet as Disney characters are dressed in their safari best! Don’t miss the buffet that is returning once again! You can read more about that HERE.
