Fantasmic!
The Fantasmic show has delighted Guests since 1992 (with a closure in 2016). This show has remained closed since the reopening of the parks.
In November 2021, we shared that Fantasmic will be returning in 2022. Disney has shared that Fantasmic will reopen with a few changes. The new Fantasmic show will feature “new animation, water effects, and everything that we love about Fantasmic.” Be sure to check out the details for these new show scenes HERE.
When will this Reopen
Last month we shared the various delays in the reopening of Fantasmic! You can check out the “laundry list” of items that first must be completed before the return of this show HERE.
Today, as Walt Disney World shared images of the newly reimagined Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond show, they also shared an update for the reopening of Fantasmic!
Walt Disney World News shares, “Later this year, the iconic “Fantasmic!” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will once again dazzle guests with a new show sequence and technical enhancements.”
This does not provide much hope that Fantasmic! will be reopening in the near future with still no reopening date set. They are not even hinting if this show may return for the Summer of 2022 or the Fall of 2022

We hope that we will hear at least a sign of what season guests may once again enjoy Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
