New Course Allows Guests to Race through Two Lands for the First Time Ever

Want to experience Walt Disney World in a whole new way? See where participants can run during the Springtime Surprise race weekend.

Last summer, runDisney announced that they would offer a new race weekend: the Springtime Surprise Weekend. This will be a completely different experience every year. The dates for this event will be March 31st-April 3rd, 2022 at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Two New Lands Added

Guests were promised surprises with this new Springtime Surprise Weekend. One of the greatest surprises yet is the race course planned for the Tower of Terror 10-Miler race.

This new race course will allow Guests to run through Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge for the first time ever.

This new race course will allow Guests to run through Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge for the first time. Can you even imagine how awesome this experience will be? To see these lands before the Park is even opened for Guests is truly an amazing experience.

At the time of this writing, registration for this race is still open and includes the following:

  • 10-mile course at Walt Disney World Resort
  • Disney character sightings and entertainment throughout the race
  • 10-Miler Finisher Medal
  • On-Course and Post-Race Refreshments
  • Participant Shirt
  • Personalized Bib (must register by January 11, 2022 to get your name on bib)
  • Virtual Goody Bag
  • Downloadable Finisher Certificate
