Doctor2me’s official press release shares all of the details.

Sickness can strike at any hour, even while on vacation, and getting to a doctor may be challenging or logistically impossible. To make access to medical treatment fast, easy, and convenient for those on vacation at Disneyland, Disney World, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Knott’s Berry Farm, Doctor2me today announced that it is bringing “doctor house calls” to hotels in these tourist destinations.

With a team of doctors on-call 24/7, a Doctor2me physician can be at most hotels in the Anaheim, Universal City (CA) and Lake Buena Vista (FL) areas, including all Disney on-site properties, within hours. Appointments can be scheduled at Doctor2me.com.

Doctor2me will have specific types of doctors on staff, such as pediatricians, OB/GYNs, orthopedists, neurologists, and all other specialties, so that you can always get the appropriate kind of care. They even have telehealth available!

Doctors can send follow up services as needed, such as blood work or x-rays. The new service accepts many types of insurance plans, and patients should check with their insurance providers to verify coverage.

This is a great new service! At least 4 or 5 times while at DW we have had to call our doctor back in PA to call in prescriptions into a drug store in Orlando and then have it delivered to our hotel. I have often wondered what would we do if we needed additional medical help. We are going to DL soon and now being 71 it is possible for health issues. I think this gives you a better sense of feeling safe and in control. I will be saving this for all trips. Thanks for providing this information!
