We finally know what the Springtime Surprise Events will be! Some of our favorites will be returning!

runDisney shares:

“What better way to celebrate Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary than with a run down memory lane. During the inaugural 2022 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend you’ll wind your way through Walt Disney World Resort on some familiar fan-favorite courses, including Expedition Everest 5K, Race for the Taste 10K and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ 10-Miler—with some new twists and turns.

Yoga will return in front of Cinderella Castle! Princes and Princesses will get to enjoy this for the first time during Princess Half Marathon Weekend.

However, keep in mind that event transportation will not be provided to Sunrise Yoga for Princess Weekend. I wonder if they will change that for this springtime race weekend?

This 5K course is inspired by the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park fan-favorite event. Even more exciting is this event will be a nighttime run and scavenger hunt!

This event will take place on March 31, 2022. It also has a 10 PM Eastern Time start time! I love nighttime races in Disney World!

Don’t worry if you are doing the challenge. runDisney is giving you a day to recoup for your next event!

The 10K will take place on April 2, 2022 at 5 AM. Here runners will see a “Ratatouille”-inspired course.

This race used to be a nighttime race, and it was my first runDisney race! I am sad to see this race move to a morning event, but runners will still be in for a treat. The 10-Miler takes place on April 3, 2022 at 5 AM Eastern Time.

Runners will “enter an early morning dimension with 10 miles of not-so-terrifying terrain that takes you through the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
