runDisney has several virtual races happening. First is the runDisney Virtual Series. These races include Mad Tea Party, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and The runDisney Virtual Challenge (all three races). These races are unfortunately sold out.

The Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend races have moved to virtual. Shortly after these races became virtual, registration opened back up for the 5k, 10, Half Marathon, and Two Course Challenge.

Currently, the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon are sold out, but you can still register for the Two Course Challenge (10k and Half Marathon). Be sure to visit runDisney’s website to register before it sells outs too!

runDisney Releases Cross-Training Workouts

runDisney knows that many of us are home a lot more these days and could use some fun into our workout routines. They are now releasing workouts that are paired with favorite Disney animated movies that can found on Disney+.

The Little Mermaid

The first themed workout will be to The Little Mermaid! This will definitely bring fun into a workout, being able to watch a favorite Disney movie. Maybe even entertain the kids while you get a workout in, or maybe they will even join in on the workout!

Below you find a picture from runDisney of the workout. Here is the workout:

  • During “Mysterious Fathoms Below” – Wall Sit
  • When Flounder acts like a guppy – 15 Jumping Jacks
  • Every time Sebastian acts crabby – 15 Clamshells (each leg)
  • While Prince Eric plays the flute – Plank!
  • If you see a Dinglehopper – 5 Burpees

runDisney also shares the disclaimer:

I know I am excited to give this cross-training workout a try! It will definitely be a new and interesting way to enjoy the movie. I can’t wait to see what movie they plan a workout to next!
