Sneak Peek: New Images From The Upcoming Film 'Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe'

MOM! Phineas and Ferb are shooting ANOTHER movie! (Admit it, you read that in Candace’s voice, right?) And we now have some new images from the upcoming film. Have a look!

I don’t know about you, but Disney+ has pretty much been on nonstop at my house lately. To my delight, one of the shows my children have discovered recently is “Phineas and Ferb.”

I am thrilled that they adore this show so much. Although the show is written for kids, it is brilliant, with some adult humor thrown in. It is exactly the kind of show I don’t mind watching with them!

The premise of the movie is similar to the adventures we see in the series.  Candace, Phineas and Ferb’s older sister who is constantly attempting to “bust” her brothers and get them in trouble, has been abducted by aliens.

Phineas and Ferb travel across the galaxy to rescue her.  However, on this new planet, Candace realizes she is free from her annoying little brothers, and is happy here!

The Phineas and Ferb fans at my house can’t wait for this one, which will be available on Disney+ later this year.

Fans will be happy to hear that show writers Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh are behind this new film as well.

In addition, Ashley Tisdale reprises her role as Candace.  Vincent Martella will return as Phineas, Caroline Rhea returns as Mom, Linda, and Dee Bradley Baker returns as Perry the Platypus.  Alyson Stoner voices Isabella; Maulik Pancholy as Baljeet; Bobby Gaylor as Buford; Olivia Olson as Vanessa; Tyler Mann as Carl; and Povenmire and Marsh as Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram, respectively.

A new addition to the cast is David Errigo Jr, as Ferb.

Yesterday we got a sneak peek at some new images from the film, and it looks like this one will be out of this world!

  1. Should had been announced to be moved up to a theatrical release later this year, for the lack of animation in theaters this year(and thanks to Trolls World Tour and Scoob becoming VOD exclusives), with only Onward, Sponge on the Run, Connected, Soul, and Croods 2 hitting up the big screen this year(and Minions 2, Disney’s Raya, and the Bob’s Burgers Movie were postponed to next year), and why couldn’t Phineas & Ferb make perfect sense to make up the theatrical slate for Disney(since Hamilton and the was always meant to be box office disaster, Artemis Fowl moved to Disney+, and Raya and Jungle Cruise were completely postponed to next year), the animated theatrical slate for this year(because two of them completely bypassed theaters and three of these movies were postponed to next year), and for Mat Brunet(aka AniMat) to review this movie and count it in his Top 5 Best and Worst Animated Films of 2020, whenever theaters across the country reopen, I don’t care it was because of the box office disaster of 2004’s underrated classic Teacher’s Pet that caused the television animation division to stop making theatrical films
