Ritz-Carlton Orlando Hotel Closed Through May

Another hotel in the Orlando-area is now closing and not reopening until the end of May. This is a lot longer than many of the other hotels in the area that are closed.

With the Disney resorts closed through the end of March and a Disney Springs hotel closed through the end of April, we have learned another hotel in the area is closing. However, it is closed for an even longer time than many attractions and hotels.

The Ritz-Carlton in Orlando is temporarily closing, effective immediately. They intend to reopen on May 28.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa Orlando, Grande Lakes is temporarily closed effective immediately until May 27, 2020. We thank you for your patience and understanding in the coming weeks. For the most up-to-date information on hours and availability please contact us directly on +1 (407) 206-2400.

Cancelation Policy

  • For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival,* as long as the change or cancellation is made by April 30, 2020. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
  • For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates, between today and April 30, 2020, we will allow the reservation to be changed or canceled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date.* Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
  • Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

Many hotels are closing, but only for a few weeks. The Ritz-Carlton is closing for over two months. It really is going to take a nationwide effort of social distancing in order to flatten the curve.
