Trattoria al Forno on Disney's Boardwalk is now offering a new character breakfast featuring great Princes and Princesses from some favorite Disney movies!
The new "Bon Voyage Breakfast Celebration" is now taking reservations beginning with Sunday, April 2, 2017. You'll enjoy a plated breakfast with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider as well as Ariel and Prince Eric. (Plated breakfast means you order your entree from a menu)

Calzone with scrambled Eggs, Soppressata, Bacon, Sausage,
Blend of Cheeses and Sunday Gravy
"Golden Frittata"
Prosciutto di Parma, Piquillo Peppers, Green Onion,
Pecorino Romano and Roasted Potatoes
"Tangled Eggs"
Tomato & Basil Scrambled Eggs,
Fresh Mozzarella, Sunday Gravy and Roasted Potatoes
"Two Eggs Poached Under Water"
House-made Fennel sausage, Parmesan, and Sunday Gravy

The cost is said to be $34 per adult and $20 per child and you can use the Disney Dining Plan. It will be a ONE credit meal per person ages 3 and up! The menu on My Disney Experience is not correct as of 2/23/2017. You can call 407-WDW-DINE or book online HERE. The online site tends to be very glitchy, but keep trying and you might find something.
I was able to grab a first date breakfast on April 2nd for Debbie and I and we look forward to seeing you there.
If Epcot is open but International Showase is not, is it possible to walk there via Epcot? Trying to avoid Uber due to needing three car seats. I understand Epcot admission would be required.

Absolutely delighted to have got a reservation for our trip over the pond this July, its very exciting to be able to meet not only the Princess but the Prince too ... cant wait!!!
After trying for a week I finally got a res in May. Can't wait to hear your review when you go! We have a 7:45. Our travel agent believes our magic bus will leave about 9:15 so this is a perfect last magic surprise for my daughter before leaving. Do you think if we are there before opening at 7:30 we might be seated before our reservation at 7:45? Can't wait!

After having Shutters cancelled due to construction, was struggling to find a non-park TS to use the last dining credits. Had no intention of leaving the resort for at least one day so that threw a small kink in the plan. Somehow I lucked into a breakfast here for our last day, seems a bit ironic lol
They opened a bunch of reservations for this tonight! I couldn't get anything for memorial weekend and tonight every day breakfast is available to book! Thanks so much!! So excited for this!

Thanks for responding, Kenny! Just one more question. I don't normally do character breakfasts. If it says breakfast ends at 11am, does it stay open until one hour later like other restaurants and, if yes, will the characters still be out going to each table until noon? Thanks again.
Characters will meet every guest with a breakfast reservation regardless of reservation time.

I've booked for our Kennedy Space Center day - would you recommend uber/taxi or driving (we'll have a car) and parking? Not sure if there is ample parking?

I tried making a reservation but they are currently not accepting any reservations until March she said due to some booking problems. (We're going in June and wouldn't let me book yet)

Since this is a dining post, can you, Kenny, tell me why I was told by Disney that I couldn't upgrade my dining plan from quick service to the Basic Dining Plan? Rep I talked to couldn't tell me why. Doesn't make sense to me, as it would mean more money in Disney's pocket from me...would def include Bon Voyage if I could upgrade!

Kenny, I see you mention this meal bus for early mornings, but I've been told many times regardless of resort type where we are staying this no longer exists. Can you help me to locate this service, please? Thanks in advance!
You go to your concierge and notify them that you have pre park opening breakfast and they will get you there. They won't do that after regular buses are running. Easiest just to use UBER though

I couldn't find the "Bon Voyage" breakfast listed on April 13 so I just booked breakfast anyhow. It is showing me a lower price than the character meal is supposed to be.
I tried calling to book but got disconnected twice this morning. I wanted to confirm that any breakfast reservation will be a character experience
They should convert that as there is no breakfast until April 2 and it becomes Bon Voyage then

I was able to get an early morning reservation because of your quick and early email notification and I'm SUPER EXCITED!!!!! .. oh - and so is my 7 year old daughter ;-) Resort character experiences are a must for our family since dad doesn't come to the parks (it's a golfing vacation for him). Usually at character meals, a cast member isn't too far away to take a picture for you. I've also found that people at the table next to you might even offer to take the pics for you :)

I called and booked Bon Voyage specifically. I have the regular breakfast and a Bon Voyage. I kept the regular one because I like the time better. I'm not going until the summer, so I have time to see how it works out.
There is no difference between the bookings. If you have breakfast, you have Bon Voyage.
This morning was my 180-days out booking whirlwind, and I'm so excited I was able to book this breakfast, and got the exact day/time I wanted. At age 42, I might be more excited to meet Prince Eric than my daughter!!
Are there ever Photopass photographers at the character meals, or will I have to beg someone at another table to take pictures for me with my phone if I'm dining solo?
Usually there aren't Photopass photographers, but I'll be able to confirm here on April 2

It doesn't say those things on Disney. Just trust me and book the breakfast and you've got it.
I was thinking of doing this on our Epcot day and walking out the back entrance of Epcot and over. Do you think this is possible/logical? Any word on kids breakfast choices? Thanks
Only if you pick a time in which Epcot is already open for business. It's breakfast only

You would probably have to take a bus to one of the parks, then get on a bus to disney boardwalk from there.
Couldn't do that early in the morning. Take the character meal bus or use UBER
