The Characters in Flight tethered balloon attraction in Disney Springs will close soon for a refurbishment.Characters in Flight will be closed from January 9 through January 13 in order to offer a new balloon with a new design. The original design was brought over from Disneyland Paris to fit with the look and feel of Downtown Disney.
Disney Springs feels that it’s time to receive an updated look and will offer a beautiful new balloon. The attraction takes guests up to 400 feet above Disney Springs to have a picturesque view of the surrounding area. The attraction takes about 10 minutes to experience.
The regular cost of the attraction is $18 per adult and $12 per child. If you fly before 10:00am, you can do so for only $10 per person. You can also often find Groupon discounts.
