Limited Time Magic: Pirates week (well almost)

Ahoy, Mateys!

International Talk Like a Pirate Day is September 19th, so Walt Disney World fans that have been following the Limited Time Magic announcements since they began assumed that Disney World would present its Pirates week during the week of September 16-22, only to learn of something at Hollywood Studios that only a VERY few people would be selected to enjoy.  One also had to click through 3 different pages to get to this page to register for this (Spaces are filled).  So what happened to Pirates Week?  Will there be anything cool happening?

This is what I’ve heard:  Pirates Goofy, Jake and Captain Hook will be available for meet and greets in the Magic Kingdom and they will offer the parade floats from Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (assumed to be with characters) from September 23-29 for a 3:00 PRE-Parade.  Unless plans change, it doesn’t appear we’ll get to meet with Captain Jack, Captain Barbossa or Angelica :(

Seems like Disney really missed the mark with this whole "limited time magic" thing. Bummer.

I agree. There really wasn't a limit time magic either week we visited this summer. Got my hopes up of something cool but failed to deliver.

Very disappointed as I planned my trip surrounding this event at least I won't have to meet Hook at the Mix and Mingle.
