In a classic junkyard style that reminds me of my childhood helping my father repair cars, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree celebrates Mater’s love for all things gently used and combines that with his affinty for tractor tippin’. At first look it appears that all one will do is spin in one circle, but the tractor rotates or “figure eights” among 3 different circles while swinging the guest around wildly.
There are several different songs played at the attraction that were, ummm, sung by Mater himself. Many of the posters and props are mentions of Mater’s many travels that are told in his short stories.
I rather enjoyed the 2 minute attraction and it was a big hit among the small child crowd. I would visit this attraction after Luigi’s because it handles more guests per hour.
