Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival began on August 28th. Did you see this new addition to the festival?
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival

EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival takes place at the end of summer and into the fall. This festival began as a 30-day global celebration around the World Showcase. Now, the festival takes over the entire park!
There will be over 35 global marketplaces at this year’s festival!
The 2025 Food and Wine Festival will run for 90 days! This year, the festival runs from August 28th through November 22nd.
Festival Favorites Returning

There is so much to see, eat, and do during this highly anticipated festival. The global marketplaces will include both kid-friendly and plant-based options, so there is something for everyone!
Emile’s Fromage Montage will return! Enjoy cheesy snacks around the festival (while collecting the stamps) and receive a complimentary treat!
Other activities that will return are Remy’s Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt, Eat to the Beat Concert Series, Festival Concert Series Dining Package, and Living With the Land Food & Wine Displays.
New Food and Wine Trash Cans

This year, EPCOT has added two new Food and Wine Festival-themed trash cans near the Creations Shop gift shop. This is the first time that Disney has had themed trash cans for the Food and Wine Festival. Themed trash cans did make an appearance for the first time at EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival this year.
Disney debuted two new Food and Wine Festival themed trash cans this year. These festive trash cans can be found near Creations Shop.
The trash cans have the Food and Wine Festival color schemes. The Ratatouille-inspired trash can features Remy and Gusteau. Writing on the trash can says “Big Flavor” and “Anyone Can Cook.”

The Mickey-inspired trash can features the Fab Five. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy are all featured on this trash can.
Nothing quite says an EPCOT festival like a themed trash can, as it can serve a multipurpose, both as a table and a trash receptacle. These two trash cans add a fun and festive touch to the festival. We can’t wait to see if Disney continues this addition with each upcoming festival.
Have you seen these new festival-themed trash cans at EPCOT on your last trip? Do you love EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival? Will you be attending the festival this year? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to share this post with your friends!
