Surprisingly, Disney Fans Are Driving High Ticket Prices
Do you think Disney ticket prices are too high? We often think Disney is to blame, but now it seems that Disney fans may be to blame as well.
Disney World Price Increases

Many loyal Disney fans wonder when Disney price increases and high-priced add-ons will end. Along with the higher prices, we shared the many perks that are still missing at Disney Parks. Read more about this HERE.
Disney responded in an unusual way by listing their current "deals" with the greatest discounts offered to local guests. However, price increases continue.
Walt Disney World guests love the special ticketed events, such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This year, however, the price increase is staggering.
Disney Holiday Party Price Increases

Earlier, we shared that although the starting price remains the same as last year at $119, the highest-end pricing for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is $229.
For comparison, the highest price MNSSHP ticket in 2024 was $199. That is a staggering $30 price increase from last year. There are a few additional characters for these events, but for the most part, prices continue to rise without new perks explaining these increases.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party continues to be one of the most popular special ticketed events at Walt Disney World. So far this season, every party has sold out, with only 6 dates still available to purchase tickets.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets

Now, before the first fall leaves begin to fall, we already have the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party date to sell out this year, November 7, 2025 (opening night). Typically, opening night is the first to sell out.
First date is now sold out for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
This first sold-out date is priced at $199 ($10 more than 2024). When Disney first announced these holiday ticket price increases, we thought that maybe these events would not completely sell out. My (Donna) concern is that if Disney fans are willing to pay higher prices every year, when will the price increases finally end?
What do you think of these price increases? Do you plan to attend either of these events? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
