Did Disney Tease a Mickey’s Halloween Party Special Event?

Did Disney Tease a Mickey’s Halloween Party Special Event?

Some Disney guests are already planning ahead to enjoy spooky season at Walt Disney World this fall. Disney teases that a special event will be coming and we can’t wait to learn more about it.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party typically begins in early August and runs through October 31st on select evenings from 7 p.m. to midnight. With special fireworks, entertainment, rare character meet and greets, and trick-or-treating fun, this is a “can’t miss” event for many Disney fans.

Pricing varies per night, with the cheaper nights being August and September. October is the most expensive (and most crowded) as fall break and Halloween Guests arrive.

Typically, Disney makes announcements for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween and other Halloween fun in May with their “Halfway to Halloween” celebrations. A new Halloween tease makes us even more excited for “Halfway to Halloween” announcements.

Each year, Disney fans hope to attend the ultimate D23 Expo, and this year, it will be held at Walt Disney World from August 29-31, 2025. Tickets went on sale yesterday and quickly sold out for D23 Gold Members.

Yesterday, we noticed a fun tease for this year’s festivities, “Also, stay tuned for more details about a spooktacular event happening the evening of August 29! It’s sure to be a wicked good time!”

There are a few factors that have us wondering if a special D23 event will take place for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this year. Typically Disney uses the word “Spooktacular” about Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Also, August 29 falls on a Friday which is a typical day for Mickey’s not-so-scary Halloween party events.

In the past, there have been special D23 events held at Disney’s California Adventure for the Oogie Boogie Bash. This also has us wondering if the D23 might want to have a special Halloween event on the East Coast this year.

This little tease has this wanting more information. We anticipate learning more about the special event when Disney releases their “Halfway to Halloween” news in May. It is unknown at this time if this will be included in the price of the D23 tickets or if this will be an additional cost.

If this event is exclusive to D23 members, this may remove a date from the typical Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party calendar. But, it’s also possible that D23 attendees may receive discounted or complimentary entry to an open Halloween party.
