Exciting news! We stumbled upon a rare character at the Magic Kingdom. This pirate might be prepping for a Magic Kingdom party, but you can see this cool character now! Don’t miss out on the details here on how to do that.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will run on select dates in August, September, and October this year. If you’re planning to go to this event, buy your tickets soon. Halloween night is already sold out!
You can find a complete list of party dates and special new offerings for this year’s event HERE, including fireworks, rare character encounters, exclusive entertainment, and party-themed treats.
To prepare for the party, Disney selects characters to “train” for this event. During the summer months, you can spot a variety of these characters in the theme parks. And today, we’ve spotted one of these rare characters!
Roaming Pirate
Disney’s Pirate Adventure and its characters are extremely popular with guests. Fans were thrilled when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party featured live “characters” inside the attraction.
We spotted Captain Barbossa in his pirate attire roaming Adventureland inside Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
He is decked out in his black coat, yellow sash, and a worn black pirate hat. Captain Barbossa, played by Geoffrey Rush, was in the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.
What Does This Mean to You?
If you want to meet Captain Barbossa, head to Magic Kingdom today. It’s uncertain if he will make an appearance again.
Head to Adventureland and hang out near the Pirates Ride at Magic Kingdom for the best change to meet him.
While we’re happy about Captain Barbossa heading to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, we’d like to see more pirates, including the Redhead.
Are you looking forward to seeing Captain Barbossa at Magic Kingdom? What other characters would you like to see at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? Let us know in the comments and share with a friend who loves Pirates.
