Frozen has captivated fans for 10 years. Before the next installment comes out, we have a new Frozen story to look forward to!
Frozen
Frozen will mark its 10th anniversary this coming fall. Can you believe that? It truly seems like it was just yesterday that we were introduced to our friends Olaf, Sven, Anna and Elsa.
The movie franchise remains pretty popular with young children and adults. After all, who doesn’t want to belt out “Let It Go” after watching Frozen? The characters, songs and adventures of Anna and Elsa are all parts of the reasons fans are drawn to this story about two sisters.
The first film took the world by storm and many thought the second was even better than the original. However, as it is with sequel announcements, many fans who loved what has already transpired in the worlds of their favorite characters are skeptical. Will Disney be able to create a sequel that lives up to the first two?
Next Frozen Movie
The main stars WILL return for the third installment, but we learned that director Jennifer Lee will not direct this next movie. You can read that story right here.
Disney has remained pretty quiet about the third Frozen film, which is not surprising since it was just announced earlier this year. 6 years passed in between the first two films, so we probably have a few more years before it hits theaters.
In the meantime, we have some new Frozen content to hold us over!
New Podcast
Disney just announced a Frozen podcast will arrive in October! The first season, which is 12 episodes, is called “Forces of Nature.” It will feature Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and a bunch of new characters as they try to “bring order to the kingdom and restore the Spirits of Nature.”
The podcast will be available wherever you like to stream your podcasts. We will be sure to share more information when it becomes available!
