I have already reserved mine for the first Friday to let you know about my experience. Do you think this is something you would consider doing?
We absolutely loved this event last year and wondered if you have heard if they will bring it back for 2015? Also with the hat being removed do you still expect fireworks for SWW and if so where?
I’d just be taking a guess, but I’d guess they will because it sold very well. If they shoot fireworks, it’s always from the same location in the backlot area but can only be viewed in front of the Chinese Theater. We should begin getting info for SWW soon.
Doing the dinner & Fantasmic package on the 12th. If you sing about Belle the girls will have to meet you all that much more! He was one of our favorites when we were there in December.
See ya there! I’m hoping this will take the sting out of losing hoopla.
We will be at SWW on that first Friday also. I’ll be watching for you…always watching…always watching. My plan was to follow your parade viewing post from last year(?) and ditch my family. They don’t love SW the way I do anyway.
See ya around Roz :)
Kenny- do you know where the reserved section will be located? Do you think the reserved section will be wall to wall people? I’m strongly considering reserving this package for our group, but don’t want to be piled into a reserved section with 2000 of my closest Disney friends! :) Do you know how many tix Disney is selling per day? Thanks so much!
Liesel Nobles…no they haven’t said where the section is. It may be on the main drag or near the hat. I just hope it’s in the shade! Don’t know the count, but I’m sure it will be pretty exclusive.
First day is sold out already.
HaaHaa, we have reservations at 8;10 for the Sci-Fi breakfast, same day as you, after you posted; we now have this reserved on the 16th, same as you, after you posted. We will be there for 16 days total and apparently will try to see you every day! I swear we aren’t stalking, just following you very close in order to plan the perfect trip. With your app and the site we talk about you so much my girls (5 & 7) can’t wait to meet the pirate, as if it’s a character experience! Bless you sir.
I’ll be at the Star Wars dinner too, what about you? I’m pretty easy to find. I’m about 6’3″, very muscular and love to sing of my love for Belle and myself. Look forward to meeting you.
Kenny, How do you afford this all? Did someone leave you a lot of money or are you a Disney employee. I have a buddy who works there and spends almost as much time as you do… almost.
No and no. I work very hard at night 4x a week and my wife had a job too. We do the things we enjoy with our family or I go solo to the things my readers might be interested in.
Ummmm, YES!!! We are not attending this year :-( So we will be awaiting your report Kenny!
I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes!
Having never taken my kiddos to this before do you think that this would be a good idea? They are 6 and 8.
It would make it much easier to view the parade and fireworks. DHS is really congested and people line up 2 hours before the parade to get a good spot for the entire motorcade.
Is this standing room only? I have reserved a spot for four people.
That’s what the information makes it sound like.
I signed up as soon as I saw this pop up this morning. Very excited about the nerd fest this will be.
Might be worth it for the reserved viewing because DHS is so cramped and good parade spots are reserved 2 hours in advance.
