Do they not do the Kiss Goodnight anymore? My sister was there tonight and they waited for it and she said you could hear Mickey over the loudspeaker say goodnight and then a kiss sound and that was it! She said it was pretty disappointing for all the hype…
They did it last week
Just heard that the Notorious Banjo Brothers and Bob are being cut from Magic Kingdom. Their last day will be Oct. 1. Very sad news!!!!
That will be sad. They are a lot of fun.
Hi Kenny,
I had a FP+ reservation for the Festival of Fantasy parade at the end of October and Disney canceled it. Any idea why? Will they not be having the parade?
Do they still do the hoedown in Frontierand?
Yup, it’son http://www.characterlocator.com along with all other characters and entertainment.
Is the Move It Shake It Street party everyday in November or just select days? And if it is select days do you know what days?
Usually daily, but no way of knowing for November
Kenny, can I ask why there are two Celebrate the Magic shows in early November? When we were last there it was only the one show before Wishes. Many thanks.
Not an unusual occurrence. It has two shows quite often.
I thought I read somewhere that the Hoedown Happening was in the morning. On your list you have it happening later in the afternoon. Is that up to date?
Yes it’s up to date. I update it every Saturday night.
Do you have any information about when the Festival of Fantasy parade will be starting? The Disney Parks blog just says March and I’m going March 7-12. Also, would they train characters in Epcot for this or no since it is a parade? Thanks!!
I’ve heard March 14, but that isn’t set in stone. Epcot training happens often regardless of parade performances.
No Frontierland Hoedown?
Sorry, I overlooked it when I rebuilt the scheduling on the blog. It’s here now. On app it’s under “Characters” though.
I heard there is some new shows in Fantasy Land…A Beauty and the Beast show and something with Ariel? We are going in October and have a princess fanatic! Any info? Thanks :)
Enchanted Takes with Belle. There’s an Ariel ride and a meet and greet.
Do you have any idea how long the Flag Retreat is going to be down for refurbishment?
I just told my husband about it last week (we’ve always missed it before) and he was really excited about it.
We leave on the 13th for our trip.
Supposed to be closed through April 13

Thanks! It’s likely that it will be up and running again by the time we get to the Magic Kingdom later in the week. I’m relieved
The Magic Kingdom Welcome, is it at a different time during Extra Magic Hours?
10 minutes before earliest park opening
Does the Frontierland Hoedown usually happen during a certain time of the year?
Lately it’s been operating weekly, but on different days each week.
Any idea why Move It Shake It is only scheduled for 1 time this week. It overlaps with our dinner ADR and sad to miss it.
I thought that was odd too. I would suppose it was a money issue. Why run this 3 times a day during the slow seasons?
Is there a reason the Kiss Goodnight is no longer on your schedule?
Disney hasn’t been releasing it for the last couple of months.
