Grand Floridian Resort Recreation Activities Guide
The guides are updated at or near the beginning of each month.
Each month at Disney World the resorts each offer a variety of activities. You might take in a classic Disney movie at Movies Under the Stars hosted near the pool. You could take part in a wide variety of pool games, Disney trivia or fun like Simon Says. Some hotels offer pin trading times and many offer seasonal character meet and greets for Halloween, Christmas or Easter.
Movies Under the Stars allows you to view Disney and Marvel classic movies while relaxing in a pool chair. There’s a large inflatable screen and they usually have snacks for sale near. These movies are free of charge.
During holiday periods like Christmas, Easter and Halloween Disney characters will often offer special free meet and greets at many of the resorts and you’ll find that information on these guides when they are offered.
Most activities are free of charge and open to any Walt Disney World guest, not just those staying at the hotel. (Pool activities are limited at some resorts). In addition to the many recreation opportunities there are also arcades available to anyone.

I'm not seeing the Parasol Parade or the Society Orchestra on the schedule. Do they still do that at the GF? Also, does the GF (or any other deluxe resort) do a tour the same way the Grand Californian and Disneyland Hotel do?

Hi Kenny - just noticed the December 2016 guide does not include the princess promenade. Do you know if it is still being offered, or has it been cancelled?
